How InsolvIQ Works

From raw public record to ready-to-call lead brief — a five-stage pipeline built for commercial auction salespeople. No data team required.

01

Data Ingestion

Seven public sources, monitored daily.

InsolvIQ ingests from federal court systems, public lien registries, business directories, professional network data, county business license records, business credit data, and news aggregators. Each source runs on a scheduled job — most update daily, bankruptcy data checks hourly.

02

Signal Scoring Engine

Every signal is weighted. Stacked signals multiply urgency.

When signals fire for a business, the scoring engine adds points based on signal type and recency. A Ch. 7 filing alone scores +4 points. A UCC lien adds +2. Google closure adds +2. Three signals together push a business straight into Tier 1. Scores are recalculated every time a new signal arrives.

03

Industry & Territory Filter

Only leads relevant to your geography and equipment categories.

Each rep has a territory defined by Nielsen DMA codes and industry SIC codes. Leads are routed only to reps whose territory and equipment specialization match. A rep covering Ohio who specializes in manufacturing never sees a Los Angeles restaurant lead.

04

Data Enrichment

Owner contact data pulled automatically — no manual lookup.

Once a business clears the filter, InsolvIQ enriches the record to pull the owner's name, direct phone number, and email address. A financial health score provides an additional credit signal. Firmographic data provides employee count, revenue estimate, and founding year. All displayed on the lead card.

05

Lead Brief + Routing

A ready-to-act brief lands in your daily feed.

The lead brief is a 2–3 sentence plain-English summary explaining why this business needs auction services and what window exists to act. It's paired with comparable auction results from the same SIC code and region, an estimated asset value, and an estimated commission. The lead is automatically assigned to the matching rep and appears in their feed.

Signal weighting

Not all signals are equal. Bankruptcy weighs the most.

Each signal earns points based on how strongly it predicts an imminent liquidation event. Ch. 7 bankruptcy is the clearest indicator — it triggers an automatic Tier 1 classification when combined with one additional signal. Early signals like LinkedIn decline or license lapse start a watch lead that can escalate as more signals stack.
