How InsolvIQ Works
From raw public record to ready-to-call lead brief: a five-stage pipeline built for commercial auction salespeople. No data team required.
Data Ingestion
Multiple public sources, monitored daily.
InsolvIQ continuously monitors six public data sources (court records, public lien filings, business registries, workforce data, business directories, and news) for signs of business distress. Most sources update daily. WARN Act notices provide a legally mandated advance window, giving you time to reach an owner before a closure becomes widely known.
Signal Scoring Engine
Every signal is weighted. Stacked signals multiply urgency.
When signals fire for a business, the scoring engine weights them based on how strongly each predicts an imminent liquidation event. Signals are combined: a business with multiple indicators scores significantly higher than one with a single data point. Scores are recalculated every time a new signal arrives.
Industry & Territory Filter
Only leads relevant to your geography and equipment categories.
Each rep has a territory defined by geographic region and industry category. Leads are routed only to reps whose territory and equipment specialization match. A rep covering Ohio who specializes in manufacturing never sees a Los Angeles restaurant lead.
Data Enrichment
Owner contact data, pulled automatically. No manual lookup.
Once a business clears the filter, InsolvIQ enriches the record with the owner's name, direct phone number, and email address, along with additional business health indicators and firmographic data including employee count, revenue estimate, and founding year. All displayed on the lead card.
Lead Brief + Routing
A ready-to-act brief lands in your daily feed.
The lead brief is a 2–3 sentence plain-English summary explaining why this business needs auction services and what window exists to act. It's paired with comparable auction results from the same industry and region, an estimated asset value, and an estimated commission. The lead is automatically assigned to the matching rep and appears in their feed.
Signal weighting
Not all signals are equal. Stacked signals escalate urgency.
Each signal is scored based on how strongly it predicts an imminent liquidation event. When multiple signals fire for the same business, urgency compounds, moving a lead up through the tier system automatically.
Scores are also weighted by industry. A bankruptcy filing in a high-value equipment category scores higher than the same signal in a low-value one, so your hottest leads reflect liquidation potential, not just signal count.
Tier 1: Hot
Act immediately
Multiple high-weight signals have fired. A liquidation event is likely imminent. These leads surface at the top of your feed and trigger an immediate alert.
Tier 2: Active
Engage this week
A strong primary signal is present, with one or more supporting indicators. The window is open but not yet critical. Worth a direct outreach now.
Tier 3: Watch
Monitor for escalation
Early distress signals detected. No immediate urgency, but the lead is tracked and will automatically escalate if additional signals stack.
